TOOLS FOR DIABETES MANAGEMENT
Course
Description:
The
American Diabetes Association (ADA) has developed standards of care for
intensive diabetes management. The
tremendous advances in diabetes care include numerous approaches and tools which
aid the person with diabetes in managing their disease.
Some of the approaches include healthy nutrition with a carbohydrate
emphasis and effective combinations of diabetes medications.
The tools for diabetes management may include insulin administration
devises such as insulin pens and the insulin pump and intensive management with
medications regimens, just to name a few. Course
